Amenities
The Falcon Civic Center (FCC) is located along Hwy150 and is surrounded by a variety of amenities including: close proximity to the Indee Bark Park, Independence Skate Park, Community Greenhouse, walk/bike trail, and the Buchanan County Fairgrounds. It is the central location for the Independence Parks & Recreation Department Staff & Independence Building & Code offices. It offers: locker rooms, sauna, racquetball court, weight room, cardio room, kids zone, a newly painted 5,400 sq. ft. gym with 6 hoops and LED lighting, 2 meeting rooms, and kitchen. We have reasonable daily admission fees, and a variety of membership options to this facility which are the lowest in the area.
Usage Fees
All of the Falcon Civic Center Memberships include usage of the weight room, gym, sauna, locker room, shower facilities, racquetball, foosball, ping pong, and billiards table.

Facility Rentals
This facility is also available for rentals for special events. The Falcon Civic Center hosts and provides space for youth dances, craft & vendor shows, our Annual "Just for Kids" Holiday Store, and other community meetings and functions.
